Taylor Coonan, the curator of this exhibit, is a senior at the University of Connecticut in the Human Rights Archives I class in the fall of 2021 taught by Catherine Masud. All items featured in this exhibit are from members of the Armenian community who were interviewed for this class. This class was the collaborative effort of the Digital Media and Design Department, the Human Rights Institute, and the Office of Global Affairs at UConn. Special thanks goes out to Harry Mazadoorian, George Aghjayan, Ruth Alumbsugh-Hartunian, and Matt Natcharian for allowing the class to interview them and sharing with the class their personal collections of their Armenian history.
